for MTECH Computer Science which priority should I follow? Daiict, nirma, rvce, pec chandigarh. [Note : Please guide with respect to MTECH only, not Btech]

Sk Student Expert 2nd Jul, 2020

Dear Aspirant,

Let us put on record the National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranking for 2020 for the colleges you have selected:

  • DAIICT – 111 from 91 in 2019

  • NIRMA – 131 from 136 in 2019

  • RVCE – 70 from 63 in 2019

  • PEC – 93 from 78 in 2019

So, all of them are among the top colleges in India. When you look at the syllabus the most robust was RVCE and a more progressive seems to be DAIICT.  The other two are more traditional but less robust. We suggest you look at the all their syllabus and then make a decision taking into account the faculty – look at their published papers.

Good Luck

i scored 91 pr in JEE mains-january CAN i get admission in daiict what is the score for admission?

Sonali Sahu Student Expert 30th Jun, 2020

Hello,

DAIICT also accepts GUJCET. So percentage of seats reserved for jee main candidates is very less. If you have scored above 80% of total score then you can apply for the college.

it would be better to try for government engineering college. if your rank is below 2lakhs then you can apply for low rank NIT campus. After NIT, You can look for top Universities which accepts jee mains and then government college.

if you have domicile reservation then you can apply for home state quota which will help you as higher percentage of seats are reserved for state quota.

Hope it helps!

can we get admission in daiict through managment quota?

Smeet Almeida 23rd Jun, 2020

Greetings, aspirant!

DA-IICT or Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology is one of the highly reputed colleges in India.

I'm afraid that admissions in this Institute do not have any reservations for management quota. Admissions are given on the basis of either:-

  • JEE Main
  • ACPC Counselling

There's also a provision for NRI students who wish to join DA-IICT. However, one needs to provide all required documents as well as scorecards of the qualifying examination, JEE main or SATs as specified on the college website

Hope this information helps

Best of luck

i am general pwd candidate.how many PR require in jee main to get admission computer science branch in svnit surat ?

Soumili Majumdar 20th Jun, 2020
Hello there,
Since you are from the PWD category, your cut-off percentile is lower than the other categories. You can easily get admission for CSE in SVNIT with a good score. 70-80 percentile will be enough for getting admission into any good engineering college.
Hope this answer helps you.
Good luck!!

how many marks we should get the seat

Mayank Chowdhary 11th Jun, 2020

Donut basically depends on the course that you're choosing. Marks keep fluctuating every year as they depend on various factors like number of candidates appearing and also the paper level, etc. So you can rely on ranks more. So I'll brief you up with ranks history. So IT branch had general category cutoff rank of 215 previous year. For CS branch, the cutoff was around 242 rank. Other branches had also cutoff rank around 250-290 only. The above ranks are for general category and through the GUJCET examination.

If you ask through the JEE, for general candidate students DAIICT All India cut off rank in 2018 is around 15835 to 15883. You need to score more than 175 marks in your exam in order to get this college.

Best wishes. Thank you.
