Eligibility of seats filled by ACPC-Gujarat Board student,12th exam Clear & Guvet

Merit is built by 60% of board score & 40% Gujcet score..

Approx Merit rank in Cutoff is 50-60.

And second one

50% seats through All India JEE mains examination

Eligibility-Any board student or CBSE student, JEE mains Appeared..

Approx Cutoff merit rank is between 12K to 13K.

Both of them are on the same page based on the accreditation, infrastructure and placement. The highest package in the both colleges crossed 40 LPA and it went as low as 4-6 LPA.

Now come to the monetary aspect. Both of them would cost you around 7-8 lakhs. This does not include your travelling charges or hostel charges. So it comes down to what suits you better. Most of the students opt for VIT because it gained more popularity as it is established way before DAIICT (VIT-1984, DAIICT -2001).

Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology, Gandhinagar (DAIICT) is a great institution to pursue engineering as it has got 91st rank from NIRF in 2019. This college gives a great package of about 10-12 lakhs and also has a greater selection ratio.

You have not mentioned the category you belong to and the branch you are willing to practice out.

The Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University ( PDPU ) and Dhirubai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology both are state universities offering Engineering courses. Both the universities are ranked " A ' by the NAAC.

When we go for rankings then the PDPU is ranked 32nd in best Universities, whereas the DAIICT lacks in ranking.

As per the reviews of students and experts, DAIICT has more positive ratings than the PDPU. The faculty, facility and other services like accommodation, environment is better in DAIICT than the PDPU.

it seems to be you has the good interest in sports. DAIICT has good sports facilities. and you can make your own choice of playing your interested game.

The sports complex of the DAIICT has:

1. For Indoor games: 3 badminton courts, 4 table tennis tables, caroms , chess are also available

2. For outdoor games: 3 basket ball courts, 2 volley ball courts, 1 football court and also a cricket ground

You have got 91 percentile in JEE main that means your rank should be around 78210. However this is not your final rank. If number of student in April month exam will increase then  your rank will also increase. You can also calculate your rank as

Rank=(100-your percentile)×869010÷100

With this rank you have low chance to get a seat in daiict Gujarat. If you belong from Gujarat then you can appear in GUJCET for daiict.
