in order to get admission in NIT you are supposed to give JEE entrance exam.(JEE-Main and JEE-advanced)
The candidates who have completed their higher secondary education (PCM) are eligible to appear for the exam.
there is no lateral entry scheme in NIT. Diploma course is not considered equivelant
