Hi,

A diploma holder can appear in JEE Advanced, by applying JEE Main. But their rank and score in JEE Main will not be considered for admission in NITs and CFTIs. If you are not going to IITs you can apply for other engineering colleges where they take diploma students

Hello,
Yes you can take admission there won't be any issue. You can do diploma. If at any stage they ask for documents, do provide them. They may also ask for reason for leaving college. So be prepared for that.

What is diploma in computer technology? Is the syllabus of diploma in computer technology and that of IT the same? If not then whats the differnce between both?

There are a few differences between the syllabus of these two programmes.
Like in Diploma in Computer engineering and Information Technology, you'll have basic electrical, electronics and applied mathematics and english communication and management.

Yes the students are definitely allowed for the exam but if you want to take admission in the IIT, NIT AND IIIT s you must have passed your 12th with minimum of 75% marks( in non -medical stream) or be in top 20 percentile of your boards exam
