It is not possible to get admission to the second year of BCA directly because there is no Lateral Entry.
You need to apply for the first year of the course. If you have completed 3 year diploma course after matriculation then you are eligible for BCA Course.

No, you actually cannot take up another branch in BE.You can take Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy and Material Science Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Automobile Engineering.All these branches are related to Mechanical Engineering so you have to choose any of the above mentioned branches.
