The best thing to do after diploma in India is to take up engineering (preferably B.Tech). You will be allowed to do lateral entry. Which means you can directly start second year of engineering without doing the first year. You may also write JEE Mains and then clear JEE Advanced

As for now, the eligibility criteria for comedk states that diploma candidates are not eligible to opt for the exam because there are no lateral entry admissions. You can check the eligibility criteria in the link provided below -
