D.M.
Hi Aspirant!
According to previous year placements IIITDM has highest package of 11 lakhs(approximately). It has a rank of 182 under NIRF ranking 2020.Now with this data we can predict that this college is a decent college where you can just run your bullock cart or say there are not so much opportunity.Hence if you have not much choice you should definitely go for this college.
I hope it helps.

Happy Hustling!
Hello Aspirant,
Hope your doing good.
IITDM Kancheepuram is definitely a good college (many rating websites have rated it generously). The college has a 52 acre campus appreciated by all the current students studying in it.
so when it comes to joining the college and choosing your career option
it has a great campus, good faculty, good hostel and a good atmosphere in total
But the package is average and okay previous year around package offered was 4-8 Lacs per annum and the placement rate for the Mech branch also seems to be a little lesser in comparision to other branches.
Regular placement meeting and progress tracking. Faculty in charges take good interest and higher authorities are supportive and interested to work for placement.
Overall the college is great and you can continue opting for it if your passionate enough for learning no barrier can stop one's creativity or learning process.
Choose wisely , Hope this helps for more such queries ping us back.
Thankyou.
Good luck for everything ahead :)
Hello Jagan , From some research on internet I found that IITDM Kancheepuram is not a good college for Mechanical branch because there is no such good placement in comparison of other branches. There placemenet percentage of other branches is almost above 90% and in mechanical approx. 10% with highest package of 14 lakh in mechanical. And metallurgy may be a good option from top NITs.
Hope it will be helpful for you :)

Hey,
The OBC certificate signed by SDM Or DM both is valid in the All India Neet Counseling. I don't think there will be any problem if you have your category certificate signed by any one of them.
For more clarification you also mail them about your enquiry.
Hope that helps.
Thank you.
On the completion of 6 academic terms or 3 years, the DM exam has to be attended. Every year, one student is admitted to the course as per department's each recognized Post Graduate teacher. There have to be at least three faculty members in the department who are Professor, Associate Professor or Reader along with an Assistant Professor or Lecturer.
The training program pattern for the Directorate of Medical course is the same as that of the MD in clinical disciplines, practical training along with advanced Diagnostic, Therapeutic and laboratory methods as per the specialization.
