You will have to build up a good resume first. After that you will be requiring an acceptance letter from organisations their for your job. Once you get a confirmed letter from US, you shall be called to join and it will make your travel, verification and else easy.

To get admission under 85% quota, you will have to get more than 450 as with your above said score chances should be average. But it is advisable to try for the same.
