After selected in MNS, can i appear for neet to get a seat in AFMC to become an army doctor?

Jatin panchal 22nd Dec, 2021

Hey

once you complete your MNS, you still have to appear for NEET and go through the process of studying to become a MBBS doctor. If you want to become a doctor in the military, there are 2 ways about it. You appear for NEET, qualify and secure a seat in AFMC, Pune. Once you complete the course, you will have to serve the Armed forces for a bond period and if you want further to stay there, you can continue to serve the Armed Froces in the capacity that you are offered. But let's say you secure a MBBS seat in a civilian college, you have to complete the course and then appear for SSC exams so as to enter the Military forces as a Doctor. There is no lateral entry for MNS to MBBS. It is from the scratch and through NEET.Sorry to say but you cannot become military doctor after NMS in army, for that you will have to clear neet exam and then after AFMC counselling you can become a doctor after complete study, for more detail about AFMC.

which is better and good for future and career doctor of pharmacy are b pharmacy in india

Anushri Varshney 17th Dec, 2021

Hello hello,

Comparing two different degrees to give you an appropriate answer is quite difficult as everything depends  upon the interest and skills of an individual. Both degrees are decent and provides good scope as well. Doctor Of Pharmacy is better than B Pharma.

Doctor of pharmacy or Pharma D has good job scope in abroad. It is a degree that is required to practise as a pharmacist in many countries across the world. It is the only degree that can be pursued right after 12th class. You can also pursue it after B pharma but generally most people do it in diploma courses.

So, better to opt PharmaD over B pharma to get better opportunities in life.

Hope this information helps you.

Thanks!!

i saw that my doctor who is mbbs and quite renowned was getting offer of maybach gls from a pharma company does this happen often

Sohamsengupta8 23rd Jan, 2022

Hello student,

Sorry to say you but it is not professionally possible to offer such things from any Pharma companies. Maybe if there is some private things and for this reason This can happen. Obviously I am not telling that. But in general open doctors get commissions from pharmaceutical companies for promoting their  medicines. The amount of commission is obviously depends upon the popularity of this particular doctor in this locality. But the offer you have mentioned if quite impossible to provide by any local pharmaceutical companies.

What is the CAT score required for a doctor to get into an IIM?

divyajha1702 11th Dec, 2021

Hii

Also known as the IIM eligibility cut off for IIM shortlist cut off, these are the minimum marks a candidate must score, so he/ she will be eligible for an interview call from IIMs ( WAT/ GD-PI round ).

Meeting the qualifying cutoff does not mean that the candidate will be selected for the WAT/ GD-PI round.

The qualifying CAT cutoff is fixed before the CAT result announcement.

Qualifying CAT cut off Percentile is announced by each campus in the announcement of the admission criteria and selection process for that academic year.

The CAT cutoff for IIM is typically up to 99 to 100 percentile for General category students. For the reserved category students who appeared in CAT , the cutoff of CAT 2021 is slightly lower at 97 to 98 percentile.

Best of luck.
