i am a ward of ex service mam. i scored 520 marks in NEET 2021. I am a Rajasthan domicile. is there any possibility of getting admission in BDS govt college, anywhere in India on AIQ..I know didnt get an admission in RUHS and MBBS

Kuheli Sanyal 2nd Oct, 2021

Hey,

Based on previous year data, with 520 marks you may get a rank between 74929-82675. You can also predict your rank by using NEET Rank Predictor https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-rank-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_rp

Since you did not mention your category, I am assuming you are from general category.

Last year the cut off rank for general category was around 15000 for BDS government colleges through All India Quota. So based on this, it is quite difficult for you to get government dental colleges through All India Counselling. However, you can surely get management quota medical and dental seats in deemed universities through All India Counselling for Deemed Universities. To get a complete list of colleges in which you can get a MBBS/BDS seat, you can use NEET College Predictor https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_cp

It is important to know that nothing fixed can be said until this years' NEET Results come out. Since cut off and ranks are subject to change every year depending on the difficulty level of the paper, the performance of the students and the number of seats available. For example, in 2019 520 marks corresponded to a rank between 37780-38736 while in 2020 with same marks the ranks inflated up to 82000.

Last year the cut off for Government Vellore Medical College under OBC category through All India Quota was a rank of 8166. So based on this, it is quite difficult for you to get a seat in this college. But nothing fixed can be said until you get your result this year.

Since you are domiciled with the state of Madhya Pradesh, you have decent chances of getting the following colleges under OBC category through Madhya Pradesh State Counselling -

  • Amaltas Institute of Medical Sciences
  • Chirayu Medical College Bhopal
  • Index Medical College Indore
  • LN Medical College Bhopal
  • Mahaveer Institute of Medical Science and Research Bhopal
  • Peoples College of Medical Science Bhopal

how many seats for PG are there in Delhi State ( I P University Delhi) for Delhi State domicile students in 2021. Result for which declared on 28 September,21.

Aashiketa 30th Sep, 2021

Hi, the question that you mentioned doesn't have what specialization you want to get in. However, I will try to give you some general idea about it. So, it not only depends on your domicile but also, depends upon wheatear you have done your previous schooling from where. If you have done your schooling from Delhi University itself and also have a domicile from the same state then the seats reserved are 85%. If you belong to Delhi state but have not done your previous schooling then you have 15% seats reserved. Hope this helps. All the best!

what is the use of domicile certificate in state quota neet reservation. karnataka, OBC, HK,3a

Rikhil Kalal 29th Sep, 2021

Dear Raj,

hope you are fine,

The domicile certificate ensures the eligibilty for the state quota seats (85% seats). your profile suggests you are from Karnataka. so, when you do counselling for your state quota seats, you need prove your domicile via domicile certificate since state quota seats are reserved for the domicile students only.

hope I answered your query,

regards,

Rikhil
