  • They must be permanent residents of Uttarakhand and must have passed Classes 10th and 12th from a recognized Educational Institution in Uttarakhand.
  • Candidates who are permanent resident of the Uttarakhand but studied 10th and 12th outside the state are also eligible for States Domicile but the vice-versa is not true.

My AIR clat PG rank is 6259 and state OBC rank is 8 with west bengal domicile. Can I get WBNUJS or any other NLU??

Aman Mishra 14th Dec, 2023

Hello,

The rank scored by you is really impressive and the college which you are looking for is also one of the top college with a good academic record, so you should definitely give a try though it is quite tough due to very high cutoffs and competition but as you have mentioned about OBC, hence you can apply in that category as well which might increase your chance. There are few more colleges mentioned below so you can research about them as well.

National Law School,Banglore

NLU,Delhi

NALSAR,Hyderabad

The West Bengal National University,Kolkata

NLU,Bhopal

This are top most choices and also there are many good number of colleges about which you can research.

Thank you..

I have got 49.75 in clat 2024 can I get cnlu with Bihar domicile and category is obc (ncl)

Shambhavi shambhavi 12th Dec, 2024

With a CLAT score of 49.75 and an OBC (NCL) category, it might be difficult to secure admission to CNLU (Chanakya National Law University), Patna, as their cutoffs can be higher. However, having a Bihar domicile could provide some advantage for the state quota, making it worth checking the previous year's cutoffs for the OBC (NCL) category. You can also consider reaching out to the college for more specific insights based on your rank and score.
