Of course, You can join engineering If you have passed PUC with good marks because PUC is considered as an intermediate course (10+2). So, you are eligible for the different level of engineering entrance examination e.g JEE-Main and Advance, state-level entrance examinations (WB-JEE, JCECE, COMEDK etc) and examinations conducted by elite private autonomic institutions like BITS-Pilani, VIT, SRM, Manipal University etc. If you are interested then go for it. .....Best of luck!

Placements at Acharya institute of technology for Mining engineering is average at 55 to 60% past 2years. Companies like JSW, Hindalco, Schlumberger,, Vedanta are some good names with average package of 4lpa and overall majorly Non core r companies seen participating. Overall highest package was 12lpa and is very much decent and recommended .
