Hi Madhur,
NIT JALANDHAR PLACEMENT 2020: HIGHEST CTC: 43.30 LPA & AVERAGE CTC: 8.57 LPA
Hope you got your info,
Thanks.
Hello Aspirant,
IET Lucknow college CSE branch has good placement record of placing almost 79 to 80 % student graduates.
Also, it's average package goes from 3 to 4 LPA while the highest package goes from 8 to 9 LPA.
Companies like Tata, Wipro, Adobe, Texas Instruments IGNOU, TEQIP , Hero, Bharat Electricals, Shapoorji Paloonji, etc recruit students.
And now fir NIT Jalandhar, chemical engineering branch, placements are not much for students. Total of 55 to 65 % to all chemical branch graduates are placed each year. Companies like Reliance, Resonance, Allen, etc recruit students.
The highest package goes from 7 to 8 LPA and average package goes from 3 to 4 LPA.
The last decision on which branch to get into must be yours. The branch that you have more interest into, you must take that since packages are almost same in both the colleges.
Hope that helps. Good luck

Hello Student,
Both the colleges have got good reviews in terms of teaching, industry exposure, recruiting companies and placements as well.
NIT Patna-Top recruiting companies like Alstom, Tata Motors, Vedanta and Hero MotoCorp visit the campus for placements.
NIT Jalandhar-The top recruiting companies include Honda, Hero, Godrej, Saint Gobins, Tata, Maruti Suzuki etc.
However, NIT Patna has recorded higher number of good placements compared to NIT Jalandhar. Therefore, I think it is better to join NIT Patna.
Hope I've cleared your doubts.
Feel free to ask if you have any more queries.
Hello
Its not about toughness ,it basically depends upon your interest because if you are interested in something then you do it well as compare to the non interested one. If you are interested in sensor, automation part then go for instrumentation engineering but if your are interested in metallurgy part then go for metallurgy engineering.
Talking about college then both the college have a good placement and ranking.
Good Luck.
Hi Aspirant!
According to 2-3 previous year last round cutoffs of CSAB counseling the maximum rank under which cacdidate got the seat is are as follows:
NIT SRINAGAR- CIVIL :- 61k
NIT JALANDHAR - TEXTILE:-51k
But your rank is far from that range hence it would be impossible for you to get the admission.
You can follow up this Career360's article for more information on CSAB SPECIAL COUNSELLING:

Hello aspirant,
I would suggest you to pursue your career in food technology at NIFTEM, Sonepat rather than pursuing biotechnology at NIT Jalandhar. See, in NIFTEM, this premier institute established by Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India, offers a range of various courses related to food & nutrition and technology & management. It also provides UG courses, PG courses, MBA and PhD. It is a good selection for the students who are much keen in biology and chemistry and food science. Infrastructure is very good and lab facilities are much up to the mark so that the students can learn smoothly and efficiently. Faculties are quite hard working and always there for the students to help. Placements are also good and top companies like Nestle recruit the students who qualified and did well in the interviews. Overall, this is such an institute where you can research as well as go for the placements as well.
But on the other hand, NIT Jalandhar is quite good but if you're only for research purposes in this particular field, then it's ok.
Hope, this answer helps you.
