Hi Aspirant!
According to 2-3 previous year last round cutoffs of CSAB counseling the maximum rank under which cacdidate got the seat is are as follows:
NIT SRINAGAR- CIVIL :- 61k
NIT JALANDHAR - TEXTILE:-51k
But your rank is far from that range hence it would be impossible for you to get the admission.
You can follow up this Career360's article for more information on CSAB SPECIAL COUNSELLING:

HAPPY HUSTLING!
Hello aspirant,
I would suggest you to pursue your career in food technology at NIFTEM, Sonepat rather than pursuing biotechnology at NIT Jalandhar. See, in NIFTEM, this premier institute established by Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India, offers a range of various courses related to food & nutrition and technology & management. It also provides UG courses, PG courses, MBA and PhD. It is a good selection for the students who are much keen in biology and chemistry and food science. Infrastructure is very good and lab facilities are much up to the mark so that the students can learn smoothly and efficiently. Faculties are quite hard working and always there for the students to help. Placements are also good and top companies like Nestle recruit the students who qualified and did well in the interviews. Overall, this is such an institute where you can research as well as go for the placements as well.
But on the other hand, NIT Jalandhar is quite good but if you're only for research purposes in this particular field, then it's ok.
Hope, this answer helps you.
Hello aspirant
Jadavpur is better compared to each and every one of them in every single aspect it's fees is low placement has a median salary of 9 lakhs per annum and academics is extremely good compared to all so go for Jadavpur i will attach a link where you can compare all the colleges and see it yourself

Hi Rishav,
The decision here totally depends upon your interest and plaN. Because ISM Dhanbad is one of the most famous Engineering colleges of India for Mining engineering and NIT Jalandhar ECE is one of the most acceptable options.
ISM Dhanbad will give you an IIT tag. If your interest is to pursue Mining engineering, then that is the best option; else, ECE from NIT Jalandhar will be a prudential option considering the broad scope in the future.
Hello Pankaj,
Hope you are doing well.
When we compare NIT Jalandhar and NIT Raipur then if we consider campus infrastructure,Placement,Faculties and preference then NIT Jalandhar is better than NIT Raipur. The infrastructure of NIT Jalandhar is better than NIT Raipur. Moreover the campus placement is good in NIT Jalandhar than NIT Raipur and the faculties are also good in NIT Jalandhar. So considering the above details NIT Jalandhar is better than NIT Raipur.
I hope this will help you to take a more precised decision.
All the best for your bright future!
Dear Aspirants,
It doesn't matter if you choose CSE among any institute because at last the thing matter the most is you have industry required skills and have development skills with strong algorithmic thinking. But, as per the campus placement consider choosing best institute comes with benefits. Like Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology Nagpur , Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology Surat and Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology Bhopal has better placement statistics and research areas.
hello Gaurav
I will like to say that there is no such thing as lower branch or higher branch all branches are essential for the development of human kind in one field or other and with the development of technology helped us in every field so all engineering branches will require you learn some technical skills so you should probably choose a branch which you like to do and then a choose the best college for that according to your rank and score so that will help you in future more than choosing a big college and a branch which you don't want
Hi Student
Since you want a comparison between courses of same college then i would like to tell you all the streams are good. Your choice should entirely depend on your interest.
For example i am giving you comparison between two streams i.e. CSE and ECE, SO that you can see for yourself.
