can I take drawing and painting course after degree(bsc)

Students with a 10+2 graduation from school under a recognized board can apply for BA Drawing and Painting in any college across India that offers this course. The course teaches the various textures and designs that a painting constitutes. admission is based on murit or entrance exams conducted by the college or university. Since the eligibility criteria includes that carried have to pass they are 12th you are eligible for applying. It doesn't matter whether you have a BSc degree. If you want to pursue drawing and painting course when you can definitely do that.

Alankar PG girls college is located in Jaipur. It provides various programmes in UG, PG and other professional degrees. It is a girls only college and only females are allowed to take admission.

Various courses offered are as:

  • MCom
  • Diploma

For in-campus activities, you can concern to your activity organiser team leader or if they mention the college website. However, most of the colleges circulate all details to their participants. Hope you are doing all good. Adhering to the fact that you are good at drawing and painting and this is something you enjoy and want to pursue as your career, here are some of the careers you can pursue:

  • Fashion designer: As a Fashion designer you need to illustrate new styles for your target customers by hand-drawing or using a CAD software. A high-end fashion designer usually draws elaborate, innovative designs by hand.
  • Multimedia Artist /Animator: Animators create the moving images for cartoons, video games and animated films. They often start with hand drawings, but use computer software and graphics to produce two- and three-dimensional animations for characters and stories.
  • Graphic designer: Graphic designers create individual, original images for clothing, websites, print media, signs and logos.
  • Illustrator: An illustrator creates drawings for advertisements, books, magazines and any other business that requests an illustrated design.
  • Interior designer: Interior designers create beautiful and functional indoor spaces in homes, businesses and public buildings. They can work on new developments or existing buildings. They begin their creative process by hand-sketching room layouts and desired furnishings.
  • Architectural drafter: Architectural drafters prepare detailed drawings of the building and floor plans following the specifications given by the lead architect and client.
  • Art teacher: Art teachers work with all education levels, from elementary to college, to teach students about a variety of art methods.

Theory: 1. Indian and western aesthetics
2. History of Indian art

Practical: (A) portrait painting (compulsory practical)
(B) landscape painting
or (either practical B or C)
(C) Graphics  (collagraph, etching, Lino, woodcut)



Year 2:
Subjects:
Theory:
1. History and philosophy of modern art

2. Art in education and society

3. Study of painting from China, Japan and persia

4. Brief study of eastern and western aesthetics

5. Master artist of the world

6. Dissertation in lieu of paper

Practical:
