Can we use Scales for drawing in Nid, Nift, and Uceed??

Jefferson 22nd Oct, 2024

Hello!

Thank you for your question. Yes, using scales for drawing is not only allowed but also recommended in exams like NID, NIFT, and UCEED. Scales help ensure precision and accuracy in your drawings, which can enhance your presentation and the overall quality of your work. It's essential to practice using scales effectively, as they can aid in creating clean lines and proportional designs, which are crucial in design examinations.

If you're looking for guidance or courses related to preparation for these exams, I suggest exploring various design institutes that offer coaching specifically for entrance exams. Many colleges also provide foundation courses that can enhance your drawing skills further. If you have any more questions or need assistance, feel free to ask!

Hello,

There are several apps where you can create and submit digital drawings. Popular ones include Autodesk SketchBook, Adobe Illustrator Draw, and Procreate for professional-quality art. For simpler tasks or educational purposes, apps like Canva or Ibis Paint are widely used. If you are submitting drawings for specific exams or competitions, check their guidelines, as they may require specific apps or formats for submission. Always verify with the organizing body or institution.

Hope this helps you,

I am muslim. Drawing 1300000 salary / annum. And I am in HK region. May i come under 1H or ..?

Ayush Madanpotra 11th Jun, 2025

If you’re a Muslim from the Hyderabad-Karnataka (HK) region and earning Rs13 lakhs per year, you likely won’t be eligible for the 1H reservation. To come under 1H, you must belong to a Category 1 caste listed under Karnataka's backward classes and your family income should be below Rs8 lakhs per year (non-creamy layer). Since your income is above this limit, you don’t qualify for 1H. However, you can check if you’re eligible under a separate Muslim minority or HK region general quota.
