can i pursue Bcom in du college with 85%

Prachi Pant 18th Oct, 2020

Hey

85% is an average score for getting admission in Delhi University for the course like Bcom. However, specifically you've not mentioned either hons course Or program course. Also you didn't mention your category to which you belong so it will be a bit difficult to tell exactly whether you'll secure a seat or not.

Bcom hons seems difficult to get with this much score assuming you to be from the unreserved category. However, you may grab a seat for prog course in the closing cut offs. This estimation is based on the previous cut off trends.

If you're from the reserved category, then chances are pretty good for getting admission.

sir ,by mistake i forget to fill my aadhar card no in du form can i fill it now ???or it affect my admission in du college or not??

Siddhi Shenoy 18th Oct, 2020

Hi Harsh Gulia,

There was a facility for the candidates to edit their application form wherein you could correct the details or edit wherever necessary. But, unfortunately this facility has been closed already by DU on 5 October 2020. So now, I think the only solution to your problem would be to contact the DU officials via contact number or mail which will be available on the official website of DU. Mention them the issue and they will guide you with a solution.

My JAT percentile is 46.0403976 and my 12 best four is 90.75 can i get admission in any du college for bms or bba

theeanonymous 15th Oct, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

DU JAT is a national level entrance exam conducted for admission to BMS,BBA(FIA) and BA (Hons) in Business Economics programmes offered by 16 colleges affiliated to Delhi University. The cutoff is decided based on the number of seats available, number of applicants competing with you and the difficulty level of the exam.Total number of seats would be around 2000 and in 2019 the number of applicants were approximately 18000. Hence, if you see the competition is a bit tough. To get any decent college you need to score 200+ out of 400 minimum, if you are general category then 280-300+. Plus if you belong to general category you will need minimum 95% in 12th. Based on your percentile , there is very less chance for you to get top level colleges but if you are from reserved category you may give it a try .Your 12th mark is fine so you can anyways opt for a other merit based courses in DU colleges.

I scored 84 percentile in du jat 2020 and have 67 percent in class 12 and I am from OBC category...have I any chance in du college for bms/bbe?

mr.sudhanshu94 15th Oct, 2020

Dear Aspirant ,

I would like to tell you that there is nothing to worry about based on the marks and percentage that you have obtained they are well, I will like to make you sure that yes of course after three to four rounds of cutoff you will get a seat allotted, there might be a chance that you have to wait for more than three to four cutoff but yes you will get a seat and probably if the luck works you might get in the 3rd or 4th cut off list.

Further, if you need any other detail regarding the cut of list for your admission procedure you can please let me know in the comments section below we will definitely help you with that.

i had applied to a du college but now dont want to take adm. in it ...and want apply for another du college ...i have not yet taken adm. in the first college and i want to do that in first cut off limit only ..can i do that ?

DEBADURLLAV HARICHANDAN 14th Oct, 2020

Hello Manisha,

It's good to know that you have reached to us. We will definitely help you through this. As you have mentioned you have applied for a particular college in delhi university but you seem to be disinterested and enroll into another college. First of all Manisha, according to the rules of Delhi university you can apply to another college without revoking the admission. And prior to that the second college which you will appear will definitely have a different cutoff than the previous one. SO inspect these two things carefully before moving out.

It would be better if you will be more specific about the colleges. Then we can reach out to you in best way.

Hope it helps.

Thank you

I had applied application to a Du college but now i dont want to take adm. in it and want to withdraw my application .what shld i do ? i havent payed my fees yet and want apply in another college within the first cut off limit

Prachi Pant 14th Oct, 2020

Hey Manisha

If you've applied to a college and now you don't want to take admission there, then you can simply cancel your application. In this case, your whole application will not get rejected, only the application for the college that you've applied for will get rejected.

You can apply to other colleges as per your preference. If you've already taken admission in a college then you'll be eligible to get admission in other college only in the case when you withdraw your admission from the previous college where you've already taken the admission.

Thanks
