There are very less chances of your admission in DU colleges because of the competition. But you can try once you are not going to get admission in top colleges of DU but you have a fare chance of getting admission the other colleges of DU which are not so much reputed and famous. But I suggest you to look for a back up option.

eligibility criteria for BA English Hons:- Candidate must have passed 12th from a recognized board and satisfying additional requirements. they are :-

55% or more score in English. In Combination of best 4 subjects:- minimum 55% aggregate in English and best 3 from other subject options from core/major or elective section.

if you include any score from subject list B then there will be 1-2% deduction.  if you choose subject which doesn't belong to List A and B then there will be 2.5% deduction in best 4marks consideration.

there are two colleges of delhi university that is St. stephens and JMC which conduct their own admission process , otherwise rest of the colleges of delhi university offer admission on the basis of merit to under graduate course. if you are interested in to take admission in St. stephens and JMC college you are required to apply separately on their websites too, these do colleges do conduct personal interview also once having your name in cut off list, however there are some courses also for which DU has mandated personal interview in all colleges , kindly cross check with us or with official website of delhi university by mentioning the name of course
