if i got admission in one coarse of du cut off in one college of du , if does not pay fee for that coarse in given time then my admission is cancel or not . if my admission is cancel from that college then should i apply in other college of next du cut off .

mrinalini048 13th Oct, 2021

Hey Aman!

If you don't pay the required fees for the course in a particular college within the time limit, then your application will be cancelled for that course and college in that particular cut off. But, in the next cut off you are eligible to apply in any course or college matching your eligibility percentage and criteria. In one cut off, you can apply only once. So, yes you just have to check whether you are eligible for a course or not, and if you are eligible you will match your eligibility percentage to that of cut offs presented by various DU colleges. Once selected, you can apply and also keep in mind the category. For example, if you are a general category student you will have to look for cut off for general category only.

All the best!

ayanmukherjee045 15th Aug, 2021

Dear aspirant,

Delhi University will start releasing its cut off from 7th September to 10th of September. Du cut off is basically the closing marks that must be secured by the candidate to take admission in the college.

In this year it is expected that du will release upto 8-9 cut off lists. The best of four will be taken into account in deciding the cut off.

These cut offs will be decided by the du authorities and it could vary a bit depending on the result of 12th in a particular year.

will i get some relaxation in du cut off for ba hons English if i have scored 99 marks in english in 12th class, general category. B.O.F (excluding physical education)93.25%, kindly mention how much relaxation and which college would give it.

Shja 4th Aug, 2021

Dear Aspirant,

No, you wouldn't get any relaxation according to me. You will be given admission on the basis of your best of 4 percentage criterion only. You must be thinking you have scored Excellent marks in English and that's true for sure but sadly it will not help you get any relaxation. At the end of the it all comes down to your percentage. If you are a girl then you might get 1% relaxation and that too not all colleges prefer giving that. You can check previous year cut offs and figure out your chances of getting admission in your desired college.

I hope this helps.

Good Luck

Are du cut off rise in 2021 for Bsc hons maths

Anurag Khanna 14th Dec, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

See cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

If we go through previous year's trends for cut-offs of DU then it shows that not only for B.Sc. Hons in Mathematics but for all courses have been increasing with significant figure and if you want to enroll yourself for B.Sc Hons in Mathematics in DU then you have to aim your score in class 12th around 92% at least if you belongs to General Category otherwise 89-90%.

You can also check out previous year's cut-off trends from the link given below :-
