I Have passed my class 12rth from cbse board with humanities stream and i want to appear for du jat exam but the critieria for du jat states that maths is compulsary subject so if i pass maths exam from NIOS via on demand exam so will that make me eligible for du jat exam???

Dear friend,

The appearing candidate in dujat should have cleared Senior Secondary School Examination of CBSE or any other class 12 equivalent examination from any board/recognized institute, university. Candidates belonging to general category should have secured a minimum of 60% in class 12.

which subject marks DU consider mainly for B.COM (H)

For B.Com(H) at Delhi University You have a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in the qualifying examination.

The student also must have studied and passed Mathematics/Business Mathematics at the qualifying examination for admission to B. Com. (Hons.). Selection in DU shall be made on the basis of marks

Hi Pravertna,

For BA English Hons program in Delhi University, An aggregate of 45% marks is required in the qualifying examination. Also, The merit shall be determined on the basis of one language and three best academic/elective subjects.

The student must have studied and passed English in the qualifying exam

i have got 95 in chemis 87 in physics 65 in maths 94 in english 95 in physical edu 93 in hindi core I want to take admission in DU for BA prgrm..so please suggest me, out of these 6 subject which 4 i should choose to have maximum best 4 percentage... i m really getting confused.

Hi Sakshi,

There are more than 40+ courses running in Delhi University now. Also, for each course the criteria is different.

So, suppose you want to take admission in B.Sc Physics then your top 4 marks will be considered but excluding the marks of Physical Education or any secondary language

On 29th june the DU said that those students who do not have the new EWS certificate can upload and submit the older one for completing the registration. Such students, its also told that you can submit the new EWS certificate later during document verification.

The steps you need to follow to register for DU are:

First- You have to visit http://admission.du.ac.in/

Second- New Registration then Create New Account

Third- enter the your name as mentioned in class XII Board Roll Number.

Fourth- Enter your  email-id and confirm, choose the security question, create
