hello Vinayak,

If you belong to the EWS category i.e. economically weaker section then without any doubt you can avail the benefits. In most of the colleges these benefits are available for only those EWS students who got the admission through merit list instead of management quota.

I hope this information will help you.

If ews reservations are under dispute in TS-Eamcet, why did they ask Do you belong to Economically Weaker Sections group ? in the application ? Whats this ambivalence of TS govt, when the centre has already instructed to start implementing it from 2019 itself?

Hello,

I understand it is a big issue, but as the government of the state has decided not to consider the EWS category, nothing much can be done now. All the students who had applied by EWS category would be considered under general category now.

Good luck

Hi Aspirant,

There is no fee concession for economically weaker section. However there is a scholarship option available on tutition fees. If you are good ranker in top 33 than you will get 90% scholarship on tutition fees, rank is from 33 to 66 then 75% amd rank is from 67 to 132 then 50% on tutition fee. However no scholarship or discount on hostel fee.

Hope it will be helpful to clear your dilemma.
