In my opinion, you should wait till the final rounds of counselling as this only may fetch you a seat in economics honours.

for a general category student, it is very difficult to get a good college in 1069 as the number of seats are limited.

You do have a chance to bag a seat in CSE with colleges like GNITC, MLRIT, CVSR. You getting a seat also depends on the category you belong.
