What is the difference between BA Hons in Economics and BA Hons in Business Economics . Which is better of the two ?

BA Economics is an undergraduate course for 3 years training students in analyzing concepts by teaching them definition, nature and scope of economics.

BA Business Economics is also a 3 year undergraduate programme mostly inclined towards Applied Economics.

I am not eligible for Economics hons. From DU because I did not have Maths in 12th , what is the best alternative ?

Yes, that's true. You aren't eligible for Economics Hons, because DU mandates Maths in 12th to be eligible for Eco (H). It's the toughest course when it comes to content and course material.

Now, you can pursue other courses like Statistics, B.Com (P), which are a little closer to Eco

Hi Akshita, To pursue Msc in Economics from IIT Roorkee, one has to give JAM Mathematics Paper. There is no Interview round, selection happens on the basis of rank obtained in the JAM MA exam.

Are you asking for DUJAT Entrance Exam for B.A (hon) Economics? As per the eligibility to apply for DUJAT Entrance Exam, You should complete your higher secondary education in any stream (Science, Humanities, and Commerce) from a recognised board and obtain a minimum score of 60 per cent

Hello Kavya. The last of applying in B.A Economics (Honours) in IPU was 29th April 2019 till 4PM. The test for the same is going to be conducted on 4th June 2019. The last date has already been closed according to the official website of the university.
