according to delhi university every aspirant must have 60% as average and 60% in individual four papers which are considered by delhi university in which maths and english are compulsary subjects.
unfortunately your friends score is below 60% in maths andtherefore he is not elegible for DU
Hello Arpit. I would like to tell you that yes mathematics as a main subject is required in 12th class to apply for B.A economic honours. Since the degree requires good knowledge of mathematics to pursue, it has been made mandatory for students to have prior higher level mathematics knowledge.

I think this marks is more than enough as there is no cut-off marks to get admission in this university only you have to pass plus two with a board that is recognized but they will create and merit list for the candidates who will fill their forms
