The difference between BA Economics hons and Bsc in Economis is that in BSc there are more practical aspects of Economics involved whereas in BA there are less. Also, Maths and Stats are at an advanced level in Bsc as compared to BA.

If you are pursuing B.Com honours and your GE is English,then it doesn't mean you would have less opportunities compared to those whose GE is Economics.
It's all about what you aspire to do in future.

To study economics, one needs to have a thorough knowledge of the subject maths. Taking up economics in your 12th standard helps in making it easier to study the subject later. It is difficult to study economics if your concepts of maths and economics are not clear just
Hi Sahil! The CAT cutoff at the Delhi School of Economics ranges from 92-95 percentile. With a percentile of 90 or below, it may be difficult to get shortlisted. However, if you secure a higher percentile, there is still chance. All the best!
