Dear Aspirant,
Since you have scored 56% in 12th, you’re eligible for MBA in many top colleges since your marks should be above 50%. However, some colleges have their eligibility criteria as minimum 60% in 12th, so for those colleges, you won’t be eligible. You should also have minimum 50% in class 10th and graduation to be eligible to give exams like CAT, NMAT, etc. Try scoring above 95%ile to increase your chances of getting in IIMs. Your category also plays a huge role in determining where you will land up.
As per the eligibility criteria of MSE, you need to have mathematics as a subject in class 12th to be able to apply for their MA Economics programme. Hence, you are not eligible for this university. But you can try applying in other private universities.
dear student,
you can get admission into varies colleges for mtech, ME, MS, PHD
also many PSUs use gate score for recruiting candidates for good jobs as well.
so its according to you if you want to continue studies you can choose the first option and if you want to start doing job go with the second.
Yes. You can do Economics Honours because you had both maths and economics in 12th. Focus on getting a good score in your entrance exams and boards so that you can clear the cutoffs of your dream colleges.
Hey,
According to previous years cutoffs (2020 & 2021) it might be difficult for you to get a seat into one of these dual degree program as the cutoffs for these programs start from 240. However you might have a chance of getting a seat into B.Pharm at Pilani and Hyderabad campus.
Hope this helps.
All the best!
Good Afternoon
Hope you fine, as per your query, No!! it is not possible to study honours in Economics without having Mathematics in class 12th. it is mandatory to have economics and mathematics in class 12 to be eligible to get admission in Economics Honours. if you only want bachelor's degree like BA then you can go ahead but you have to be strong in Mathematics, this course involves with many maths topics like; statistics and all. and for major in Economics Hons you can not get this course without maths.

Technically you should be allow to chose this course as Maths (Advanced) is only for those who want to pursue PCM in class 11th and go into the technical fields. You can always request to your principal that according to CBSE, you cannot be stopped from taking Arts with Maths and if you are still not allowed then you should either change you school or complaint about this to CBSE as you should always fight for your rights!
Hope I have answered your question. All the best!
