Both are good fields but you can choose accordingly there are some good colleges like Lovely Professional University, Punjab,Shoolini University,Loyola College,Acharya Institute of Technology,Bannari Amman Institute of Technology.

My personal opinion is you just need the basics of Mathematics for pursuing any of the options below.

The best option would be to go for a graduation degree along with a professional degree. this is probably the most common trend.

Yes maths is compulsory for B.A Economics Hons. from Du.

And, one must had studied mathematics till 12th and passed in it.

No matter how much you have achieved in economics but yes i will count in those main 4 subjects.

To take admission in DU for the programme of B.A (hon) Economics you should have Maths as a compulsory subject in class 12th. There is no any entrance  exam for this programme. The admission is based on the merit list. The marks will be calculated on the best

Different IIMs have different admission criterias . So bascially some of the IIMs give you points on the basis of your score while others do not. So, eligibility requires only 50 % but to increase your chances in the dream IIM , you must know about the criterias.

you must have mathematics in 10+2 or equivalent exam, to get into BA hons economics and have passed in it too.

although, its possible that you can go for other colleges, that might be private like sharda and amity.

try having BA applied economics hons as it is more seeked

Absolutely nothing to panic about it hardly matters in Medical entrance exams. You should secure at least 50% marks that's it. No of attempts taken has no whatsoever effect on selection chances in Medical entrance. So health first.
