What is the Highest level of study for a Neurosurgeon?

Ketaki Dhotre Student Expert 19th Jun, 2020

Dear,

It takes 4.5 years of study plus one year of internship to complete the MBBS degree. Following MBBS, there are two options. One is doing a postgraduate degree, ie an MS in General Surgery. An MS takes 3 years to complete. After finishing MS, you will need to do an MCh degree in Neurosurgery. MCh is basically super-speciality. It takes 3 years to finish the MCh. So it takes 5.5 + 3 + 3 years minimum to be qualified to practise neurosurgery. Needless to say, becoming a neurosurgeon in India takes a tremendous amount of dedication and hard work. Its not just many years of training, it is also difficult to get into a good college for MBBS, and even more to secure a MS seat.

Hope this helps.

Hello Aspirant,

There are no colleges or institutions for the 2 courses like degree and also civil services but i have a idea for this you can do parttime and you can do civil services too...vice versa you can do this and there are top academies in the state kerala and in that state they give more preferences to studies only and the top academies are as follows:

NSS Academy of civil services,thiruvananthapuram.

Kerala state civil service academy, kannur.

Mar ivanios colleges,thiruvananthapuram, kerala.

Farook college ,kazhikode,kerala

Are some of the top ias academies colleges or institutions you can prefer this institutes and based on your performances and talent you may get admission in that institute if it is named college they may conduct entrance exam of that college so focus and study well and work hard for the future ALL THE BEST for your future and i think my suggestions and knowledge may be helpful to u.

Is mass graves in fields will not cause any kind of spread of corona virus again in community through fields ?

rajaman9300 Student Expert 28th Apr, 2020

The Research is still going on as various contradictory news are coming.

For example: WHO claims that "dead bodies are generally not infectious. Only the lungs of patients with pandemic influenza, if handled improperly during an autopsy, can be infectious".

But on the contrary a news came from from Thailand, reported in New york post mentioned that dead body transmitting the coronavirus to a living person and it  has been reported by scientists in Thailand.

So, research is still on and btw USA are now testing Sewage, because the community spread has been so massive that even USA isn't able to track each and everyone.
