Can i include both Core English and Elective English in my best of four subjects? I am opting for BA Hons in English

Drishti Yadav 13th Dec, 2021

Dear student,

In order to calculate your best four percentage for any particular course you need to keep in mind that only one(1) language subject can be included, so you can't include both Core English and Elective English, either of them is to be added, rest 3 subjects can be your main subject, however it should not be an optional subject, for ex , if you are not opting for a course related to physical education then do not add it into your best four otherwise it will lead to a deduction in your best 4 percentage of up to 2.5% .

I am an ISC student. subject is specified as “English” and not as Core or Elective English will it be accepted

suchayitaanusaha 30th Aug, 2021

Hello,

You are ISC student. So I think there no option to choose english as elective or functional subject. Because english is a core subject in ISC board. So english is mandatory.

That's why the English written only as english. You have to study English as normal and regular and as core Subject. So you have to be prepare for this dear.

All the best.

elective English for+2 class word notes

Ayush 26th Jan, 2021

Hello Candidate,

Since I have not mentioned that whether you are referring to the notes for ICSE Board, CBSE Board, or any other state board, so it's pretty difficult to provide you the correct answer.

My general advice would be to just focus on your class lectures, refer to a good guide book, and just go through your prescribed textbooks for examination Preparations.

Hope it helps!!
