The colleges starting can only be predicted by the college management itself. Since it friends upon the central and state government orders. We can't really say anything about reopening. But online classes must be starting soon this month or later. No wonder if it is already running.

Your son's getting government polytechnic college and electrical engineering branch depends on the rank which he secured in his polytechnic entrance exam.
Secondly you have not mentioned your Home state.
It would have been better if you have mentioned your Home state.

The placements of nit raipur in electrical engineering are really good. About 70% of the students got placed the last year. The highest salary package offered was 14 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. Thee average salary package offered was 5.5 LPA.
