first statement can be false. counselling is done on the basis of cutoff rank range and 7 rounds are conducted and other on spot counselling rounds  also conducted. rank range increases by small fraction in every round.

Scope of EE and ECE is high and same as other top

Based on previous years cut offs, you might have a chance at:

MNIT Jaipur: Power Systems

MNNIT Allahabad: Control and Instrumentation
