The cutoff required for admission varies from college to college. You have not mentioned the college name in which you are seeking admission. However, JEXPO 2019 allotment list is declared and since it is late to answer this query, I hope you have checked the allotment list.

Thanks for your query. IIT Tirupati electrical engineering is for sure not a bad choice to go for. As of placements, the placements are not that good you excpect from an IIT but for sure it's better than many colleges. So you can for sure go for this branch.

Electrical Engineering and Electronics and Telecommunication both have their own scopes.

The difference between them is that in;

Electrical Engineering it is deeply studied about electronic devices and in Electronic and telecommunication it is not studied so deeply.

EE is also little bit difficult then ECE. also both
