No core companies visit this campus. If you have taken suggestions about the college from the students of earlier batches of the 90′s then they would have told you how good this place is. But now the scenario has totally changed.

Not sure but don't worry. This year's paper was too difficult, so according to sources the cutoff is going to get lowered. So you might have a chance for your desired branch.

Is it a good option to go pec Chandigarh electrical branch if in last we have to sit in software company

It's a better option if you want to sit in software company. The placements are also fine enough. Besides this, you should go for the subject or course that you feel you can handle for four years. If you stumble in between then there's no question of good
