For general category, with your rank you can get electrical branch in the north-eastern NITs like nit silchar, nit nagaland, nit meghalaya, nit Sikkim, etc(only in the special rounds).

Congratulations on great rank. Yes there are high opportunities to secure seat in main campus in required branch. Basing on the performance the scholarship status will be given by the college during or after the counselling process.

Both IIEST Shibpur and MNIT Jaipur are very good colleges but if we compare these two then surely IIEST have an upper hand.
It is one of the oldest engineering Institute of India and if we considered MHRD ranking then and IIEST have a better ranking.

Although IIT Madras' website doesn't show right now the exact date, but it will be released in some time. The admission generally takes place after 20 July in every IIT, and the exact date isn't yet uploaded on website. All branches admission takes place on same date .

Yes surely you can get electrical engineering in many colleges using your tnea cutoff. You can choose college based on your interest or you can choose it using college predictor. You can get admission in good private colleges as well.

Basing the analysis, there are chances to secure seat in electrical branch in the main campus of SRM. The cut offs for 2019 will be decided on the basis of highest marks and difficulty of paper. This will be released at the time of counselling for students convenience.
