Seriously SC and ST people are the most previliaged in this aspect...their cut off is almost 10 marks less than general category..
And if you qualify gate just apply CCMT, you will definitely get seat in any Nit at least spot councelling..don't listen to people who say that you won't

Both PEC and IIIT Bhubneshwar are good colleges. IIIT Bhubneshwar is a new college but since it is IIIT the course curriculum is same in all IIIT's.
The only difference is that the IIIT Bhubneshwar is new so you might have listened that it is not good but

for admission in old iits your gate score is low. but you can apply in ms of iit guwahati. for admission in MS gate score requirement is low. and yoy also may apply in nit durgapur for power electronics and drives stream. there are a few good private colleges
