With expected GATE score around 570, the chances of geting into IIT's are very less. Because if you leave the top 7 IIT's(old ones) which obviously have a cutoff of more than 650 for EE even IIT BHU's cutoff was something around 600 for OBC category.

Your gate score is 350 in gate 2019.With this score you have a low chance to get NIT if you belong from general or obc category.For getting IITs your gate score should be 650 and 550 for NITs.you can check your all possible college here

If you are expecting a GATE score of 726 then it's is really considering the competetion.

Last to last year IIt bombay callled upto 600 GATE score students but only took the above 850 GATE score students as it depends on how you perform in your interview and

Doing M tech in Energy systems is really good if you are mechanical engineer, placements are also good.

If you are electrical engineer, you have to face some difficulties in course as it is mostly mech. based, and for placements also companies mostly do not prefer an energy
