There was a spot round for NITs /GFTIs.

For EE it could be about 200–250 rank for IOCL recruitment. but it also depends on the vacancies available and the number of candidate. As the criteria of IOCL through GATE is 80% GATE score + 20% GD+PI. hence you have very less ceiling
