No doubt Delhi technical university is a bit better than IPU but if you take admission in the field of your interest you will get great placements in both of these colleges.

If you are still confused take ECE in dtu , s you can still switch branch

If you wish to join private run Institute, but government recognized, a process is almost same,

It depends on colleges and its director.

For example currently i am studying in NIT Jamshedpur. So this facility is not given here because of some problem, you know well.

So some colleges give you this facility.

If you mention the particular NIT then we will help more.

I dont think so that you will get any of the branches CIVIL or ELECTRICAL with this gen category rank at pantnagar.You should go for other streams like agriculture engg where you can get one luckily.
