Hello Swarnendu, 70 marks in Jee mains are too less. You have not even qualified the cut off for jee main 2018 which is 74(CRL). Cut off for NITs is really high. They are among the top government college of the country. Not even in any category, it is possible

u will get IT branch in MIT if not in first counseling then definitely in second counseling.but select branch according to ur interest.if u not get MIT/BCE then opt DCE,NCE,GCE,MCE as they are old compared to newly opened colleges.
