which branch should i opt mechanical or electrical in gju hisar ? and which of these branch have good gender ratio?

Arhana Chakraborty 28th Aug, 2021
Both are equally good . You can choose in which course you have more interest. And also which subject attract you more. You can choose that .

As per genaral ration mechanical engineering is quite better than electrically in this college.

But the difference just quite similar. There are just some ups and downs in different factors .

There placement is very good many students get job from campusing .

The labs , workshops are also clean and good.

The departmental teachers helps and guide students for there better future .

Hello,

Congratulations on getting such good college and branch options. I will give you a preference list which will comprise of all these factors:

  • Overall ranking
  • Infrastructure
  • Location/accessibility
  • Branch that you are been offered(Core/interdisciplinary)
  • Placement opportunities

The preference order you should consider is:

  1. ECE at NIT Hamirpur
  2. EE at NIT Hamirpur
  3. Production Engg at DTU
  4. Manufacturing and Automation engineering at NSIT
  5. IT at UIET Chandigarh
  6. IIIT's

I would also like to add here that an engineering course should be very much taken with an interest in the field so I would suggest you to consider that factor and if you are not aware of the branches mentioned look them up on the internet more reliable will be to go through the syllabus on the respective colleges' website.

Hi my rank in JEE Main 2021 is 206531, can I get a b. tech seat in cse or electrical engineering in cet bbsr?

Ashmi Singh 6th Oct, 2021

Hello Aspirant! According to previous year cutoffs and trends, with this rank of yours, it's not possible for you to get EE branch at CET Bhubaneshwar. Getting CSE is also not possible. You may have a fair chance of getting Civil or IT here. You need to have a rank under 1 lakh to get any branch easily. But as your rank is above 2 lakh, it's difficult for you to get your desired branch.

I have no idea about electrical circuits , ac dc currrents , EMI chapters in my 12th class . My father is asking me to opt EEE branch in BTECH . Once if i get into the branch , will I be able to copup without any knowledge about circuits and related chapters in 12th?dont reply saying do wt u want2do

ayanmukherjee045 27th Aug, 2021

Dear aspirant,

It's very important to choose between packages and interest. Nowadays, it is the bitter truth that if you have money ,the world is under you and yes I do agree in some cases money also fails but it is good to have money.

Coming to your question , yes it would be difficult for you to manage the eee branch without knowing electrical circuit emi stuffs . But people take up many things without having any prior knowledge of that subject and later on excel in that.

So, if you have interest then do take it otherwise not.

Is iiest shibpur EE or ETC worth to join?

Abhishek Roy 5th Oct, 2021

I would advise you to join ETC at IIEST Shibpur and prefer it above EE. ETC has Placements at par with IT and CSE and much better than EE. Secondly, ETC is a really nice branch with balanced Academic Load, you can pursue your interests be it Data Science, GATE/CAT Preparation or be it Research. Secondly 3 Departments of IIEST , namely CSE, ETC and Metallurgy have very strong tie ups with IIT Kharagpur, and you may easily go for Projects and Internships throughout your stay at IIEST. Secondly, ETC or somewhat ECE at many other Colleges have excellent career scope and prospects in the Private, Public as well as Research Sector, and in a vital stream when you talk of Robotics, Electronic Materials or Industry 4.0

i get 46%ile in January 2021 jee main exam .can i get MIT Muzaffarpur for cse branch or electrical ?? please reply

Aashiketa 4th Oct, 2021

Hi, MIT Muzaffarpur does not have CSE as their branch specialization. But, they do have electrical branch. According to the the data available online you should score between 90-96 percentile in JEE Mains. With that been said the chances of you getting into MIT Muzaffarpur are very slim. All the best!
