Dear Aspirant,

Yes it has a very good scope but there is some problem. First is, EEE is a hard branch and you have to study a lot. So if you are not willing to devote atleast 3 hours per day then you must not sign up for it.

I don't know which institute are you going t join. If you are going to join any IITs or NITs, it doesn't make any difference in terms of job career.
EIE is, you are right, very theory-based subject, the core subjects of measurements and instruments are 95 % theory
