Since last 2 years, the cutoffs for electronics & telecommunication engineering at COEP are in the following range for different categories:

97.5% OPEN

92.8% SC

92.87% NTB

90.76% NTC

94.25% OBC

So look according to the category and then you will get

Civil engineering is better than Telecommunication engineer
You will get more job opportunity in civil branch rather than Telecommunication.
Telecommunication is much more harder than civil branch.
If you have interest in electronics then join telecommunication.
