No engineering stream gives 100% placement. It's all up to you to get placed in companies. Every year, Lakhs of Students Graduates in ECE, It is impossible to employment every students. Once those students gets placed who has studied well in 4 years of Engineering.

For applying in private company for job you have to firstly prepare you resume. Mention all your skills and plus points in that. Then apply for job, at time of interview you should carry your all certificates.
