If you Google it they mainly focus on packages and says that ECE has more scope Than CIVIL its hard

There are no chance at chennai and vellore campus. However you can try at bhopal and AP campus as they are new campuses and it can be assumed that you will get some good branch if not your preferred branches.

I think with this rank you will get EEE in VIT.But other branch is not possible for you.You must have rank under 20000 for CS and 40000 for IT.You can go through it.You can also prefer vellore and chennai campus too.Visit this link for more info
