Yes, ECE branch is available in IIIT hyderabad.
In order to take admission in this college you have to appear for JEE Main exam.
To be eligible you should have 60% marks in Maths, Physics and Chemistry in Class XII.

Admissions in Sastra University are conducted in two streams
1) Stream 1 (Based on JEE Main +2 marks) for 70% of seats.
2) Stream 2 (Based on +2 marks) for 30% of seats.
You can apply for the college through any one stream.
I think it will be better that if you take ECE i.e. Electronics and Communication Engineering because now a days India is going to be more digital.

In order to take admission in engineering colleges in tamil nadu you have to apply for TNEA counselling to take admission in UG engineering program.
There will be no entrance exam counselling will be based on 12th class. Anna University will release the TNEA 2018 application form tentatively
