There are many sub-branches to choose from in ECE depending on your college. The most demanded branches are communication systems, digital electronics, power electronics, signal processing etc. I would suggest you to choose the branch which interests you the most.

In order to apply for Diploma in Engineering in Electronics and  Telecommunications branch you should have minimum 45% in the subjects Mathematics & Science. After completing the programme you can apply for Lateral Entry ( direct second Year in B.tech).

VIT vellore is also a very good college but as i sped lots of my time in bengaluru and as MSRIT is one of the top engineering college in bengaluru.

so you may also get admission in any one of these college both the choices are good.

In DU for Bachelor in Psychology the admission will be based on merit as the cutoff releases and there is no entrance exam for the same. In IPU, there is no UG courses related to psychology.

The cutoff varies year to year. According, to 2017 cut off you need to score around more than 135 marks in JEE Main to get NIT Srinagar in general category other state quota.
