Yes you can apply for Mtech in this course. There is no restriction. Definitely you will be required to clear the entrance for it.

some people says EEE engineering branch is very tough and in future their is poor scope to this branch . Is it true

There is a lot of scope of EEE in govt sectors/psu.
U can get good psu through gate by getting 55-60 marks .
There are a lot of govt jobs for EEE.
Railway has 50 percent vacency of engineers is for electrical only. SSC is also there for EEE.
