But you must note that coming into core stream like cs or it you should have good academics records in diploma and good rank in entrance as these two streams are very high in demand.

let me tell you it does effect the campus placements as mentioned by others, but if you are talented and hard working enough companies will always make an exception for you.The companies which does not care about the marks sheet and know that one piece of paper does not decide your future are going to call you for interview if your resume speaks loud about you skills and achievements in the tech industry .
