It deals with the generation, transmission, and distribution of electric power and electrical devices connected to such systems including generators, motors, and transformers. It also teaches the principles and practical aspects of converting electrical power from one form to another. BE/B.Tech in Electronics and Power Engineering is a 4-year program.

thank you for approaching us . the academic qualification required to apply for GATE is 

  • Candidatesshould have completed their Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or Master’s degree (M.Sc) in any relevant science subject or must be in the final year of the programme.

  • While applying for GATE 2019, there is no minimum pass percentage in the qualifying degree.

My WBJEE rank is 90504,SC rank is 7931.Can I get chance in JU in branches -INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEERING or POWER ENGINEERING?

Hello Anindya, sorry but with that rank you cannot get any branch in JU. Last year for SC category, Printing engg had the lowest cutoff in 3rd round, even that was 20500 GMR.

Among ECE and EEE which is better course in the long run, also which college among BMSIT and MVIT is better for the same courses.

There are lots of colleges which offer production engineering so also there are few jobs for it. Most of them go with IT sector.

But there are few colleges which offer power engineering . I think you got your answer.
