Hope you are doing well. According to your quarries Electronics and Computer Engineering in PES Modern College of Engineering in Pune is overall good and the placements, faculties are also good .Placements for Computer science engineering is decent with 70% placements and average package of 3.1lpa for freashers. Many top recruiting companies like as tata consultant service, Amazon, Wipro, Infosys , etc. come here and offered roles as technical engineer, programmer, programming testing.
Hope it will help you.
Thank you
Hi, you do not have to sweat over it so much as everyone who enters this field will have a rusty mind when it comes to studies because of big vacation gap. If you wish to prepare yourself for the basics you can find them on YouTube. Basics like differentiation, Integration and Matrices will be there in your first 4 semesters. You do not have to go for GATE level questions just take out your 12th math book and start from there only that much is needed. Your faculty members will guide you anyway. For electrical or electronics you should know some basics of physics that you were taught in 12th. Hope this helps. If you still have doubts please feel free to comment.
I would prefer VJTI irrespective of any branch I would've got. If you are really interested in the course then you should go for Electronics and Telecommunications branch. But as far as the brand name is concerned VJTI is always the best. All the best for your future endeavors.
Thank you!
I hope you are doing good,
If your passion is on campus life and you are interested in pursuing a career in a non-engineering field, take any B.Tech branch at IIT. Studying for IIT higher has certain benefits such as the IIT tag and the initial prospects of being placed in non-core areas such as finance, management, consultation, etc.
If your focus is primarily on placement and earnings, NIT is your course because Core students receive top packages. This will also be very helpful if you want to do higher studies in Core.
See both the institutes you have mentioned are great in terms of infrastructure and academics. Now on the basis of placements conditions, I would recommend you to go for the Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering course over Metallurgy, because the placement rates are better for the course of ETE in IIIT Nagpur compared to that of NIT NAGPUR. Also the packages are better than that of that NIT Nagpur. So from a employability point of view it would be always better for you to go for the IIIT Nagpur.

See in terms of Infrastructure both the institutes are great. From the point of view of curriculum, PES University have a more industry oriented curriculum compared to that of MSRIT (MSRIT is affiliated by Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi ). Apart from this PES have a better placement percentage for the EEE in comparision to the EIE of MSRIT. Although the packages offered are lesser than that of MSRIT but you will have more possibility of getting a job in PESU compared to that of MSRIT. So technically, PESU will be a better choice for you.

Hi,
College of Engineering, Pune (COEP) offers a four-year BTech programme at the UG level. Admission to BTech programme is based on MHT CET score, followed by MHT CET Counselling, which is conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai. In year 2020 the cutoff of general category for electronic and telecommunications engineering is 99.74 percentile till second round. While in year 2019 the cutoff is 99.84 percentile. Hello Aspirant,
According to the category and rank mentioned by you in the question you have very low or almost no chances of getting into any of the IITs because the closing SC ranks for IITs were around 2500-3200 and you are very far from the figure so you can hardly get any IIT with any of the branches.
But don't get disappointed because if you have good rank in JEE-Main then you can get good NITs also and you can predict the colleges which you can get from JEE-Main by using JEE-Main College Predictor :-
https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer
Even though you have very low chances but still to have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your JEE-Advance 2021 score you can use JEE-Advance College Predictor:-

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.
You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-
