You cannot get into IIT for your btech just after your class 10th as to be eligible for IIT you need to be at least 12th pass from science stream with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects . You need to get a minimum of 75% marks

You can definitely take a job if you want. And I would suggest you that since this would be your first job, don't look for something very high. Just start a job and get experience. Look for a good firm related to your engineering and work there.

In order to get IITs you are advised to study really hard in terms gate preparation. IITs are the topmost institutes of India..

For this you have to be in top 500 at least . But it will be more helpful if you go for top 200.
