I am going to be a B-tech student in electrical branch (or electronics, waiting for further allotments) . I barely remember the topics in maths as I was a neet aspirant for two years.moreover,I was a bio student in plustwo and dont have any idea in computer science. How should I prepare myself now?!

Aashiketa 21st Oct, 2021

Hi, you do not have to sweat over it so much as everyone who enters this field will have a rusty mind when it comes to studies because of big vacation gap. If you wish to prepare yourself for the basics you can find them on YouTube. Basics like differentiation, Integration and Matrices will be there in your first 4 semesters. You do not have to go for GATE level questions just take out your 12th math book and start from there only that much is needed. Your faculty members will guide you anyway. For electrical or electronics you should know some basics of physics that you were taught in 12th. Hope this helps. If you still have doubts please feel free to comment.

ayanmukherjee045 9th Apr, 2021

Dear aspirant,

As per the rule the candidate can attempt examination at most two times in two consecutive years. Candidates should be less than 25 years of age, with five-year relaxation for SC, ST, and PwD candidates provided candidates should have qualified the examination

BTECH EEE OR BTECH ECE ??????????

Ayush Pandey 25th Dec, 2020

Hello,

In my opinion both comparable branches, have their respective importance and excellent scope and are taught in most of the Engineering and Technical Institutes in our country.

EEE involves electronics and electrical study while ECE involves study of electronics and some part of communications.

EE is something which is everywhere in demand be it IT/Circuit Design Industry, Manufacturing & Operations or perhaps Power Plants. Hence EE is perhaps an evergreen branch in demand since years in both Public and Private Sectors.

ECE has most job opportunitues besides CSE and any other stream. Companies like Intel, Nvidia, Analog Design , Reliance Jio , Qualcomm, Samsung are some of the major recruiters of ECE Grads in recent years.

I have passed out my 12 in 2017 but still confused which stream to choose please give me direction .

ANPAM KUMAR Student Expert 2nd Oct, 2019

Hey there

You have mentioned electrical engineering so if you'll be more specific and tell us what you are currently doing then we can help you better. But if you are doing electrical Engineering and not interested in it then you can shift your career to software engineering learn coding and try for software companies, or you can prepare for CAT or UPSC. But if you'll elaborate your current situation then that'll be easy to answer.

Good luck

Is College of Engineering Pune (CoEP) better than BITS and VIT collages? pls share your thoughts.

Afreen Anjum Student Expert 18th Sep, 2019

Hii..

Comparing these three college is not easy as this all three colleges are good at their point .but bits  are better college among these three ..

as bits allowed admission only on the basis of merit only ..and it's ..do not allow management quota or ST SC quota

Where VIT college provide management quota to get admission there..

But you can choose any of these college these three colleges ..but bits is best among these three

All the best!!
